The Wixams Community Group will be hosting a community meeting to update residents on the latest plans for the Wixams development.

The meeting will start with an update from LSP Developments, the developers of the town centre. This will be followed by an open forum Q&A sessions across a range of topics such as education, medical facilities, highways and employment.

The Q&A panel will include the following members:

• Cllr Graeme Coombes – Bedford Borough Councillor for Wilshamstead Ward
• Cllr Tim Hill – Bedford Borough Councillor for Elstow & Stewartby Ward
• Cllr Rebecca Hares – Central Beds Councillor for Houghton Conquest and Haynes Ward
• Mr Jon Shortland – Chief Officer of Planning, Infrastructure & Economic Growth at Bedford Borough Council
• Mr Jonathan Warner – Principal Planning Officer at Bedford Borough Council
• Ms Debbie Quinn – Principal Planning Officer at Central Beds Council
