Over the last 2 years there have been multiple sets of proposals, from the master developers for Wixams, to modify the ‘Section 106’ agreement for the sports and leisure facilities to be built here. Last year the application was put in front of the Wixams Joint Development Control Committee (WJDCC), but it was rejected by the committee. This was mainly due to the strong response from the community asking for changes to be made and due to a lack of engagement with the community.

The developers, now Urban&Civic, have made some changes to their plans and have now resubmitted their application. You can find the details on the Central beds Council website:
